第一次認識這種花，都已經是1984年了。
一串串藍色的小花，又名非洲紫薇，屬紫葳科植物，其羽狀複葉跟蘇木科的鳳凰木十分相似。原產於美洲熱帶，分佈在阿根廷、玻利維亞、巴西以及中國的廣西、海南、廣東、雲南、福建等地。而花期多在每年的4月至5月。
當道路兩旁種滿此花樹時，就像日本盛開的櫻花一樣，美得不可言喻！我尤最喜愛這種感覺，可惜在香港根本沒有這個機會去感受。
你們知嘛，每一種花卉，都有其獨特的「花語」（Language of Flowers，指各國各民族根據各種植物，尤其是花卉的特點、習性和傳說典故，賦予其的各種不同的人性化象徵意義。），而這種藍色一串串小花的花語，就是「在絕望中等待愛情」。
花的形態很美，但沒想過這種花的花語卻那麼淒美！

Oh Jacaranda! It was all over in Brisbane when I was in Brisbane November. As it blooms during the period of examimnation so in Brisbane, when people see Jacaranda around, it is exam time. A publication for textbook is named Jacaranda in Australia as well! I missed Brisbane days! But there's Jacaranda in HK as well! THere's a few in HKU and in Shatin as well!
